Born and raised in Long Beach, California, DJ Orator got his start in the world of DJing at a young age. Roaming the halls of Long Beach Polytechnic High School, which is known for producing influential artist/actors such as Warren G, Snoop Dogg and Cameron Diaz gave him the inspiration to try his hand at music and, more specifically, share it with the world. Working for MTV news correspondent Sway and producing the World Famous Wake Up show on 92.3 The Beat from 1999 through 2005 quickly gave him a name in the Los Angeles hip-hop music scene.

Following that, Orator quickly moved in on Hollywood- dominating the market as a musical tastemaker and trendsetter. He has commanded the attention of the Sunday-night club scene for over 3 years as the resident DJ at Greystone Sundays. He is continuously tapped to provide the soundtrack at the most exclusive hot spots and parties throughout the United States. Orator stays inspired by surrounding himself with talent of equal caliber and by keeping his finger on the pulse of the music scene.

He is known for having the freshest, newest, and best house, trap, hip-hop, and R&B tracks long before they hit the masses leaving many people shaking their heads wondering how (and where) he got them. He is known for keeping the bottle poppers along with the most beautiful women of the world up and partying all night long.
